Fun
Connect the dots
h.ki/fun/connect-the-dots asks the classic: "Click to draw four straight lines to connect all nine dots without lifting your pencil." The page adds "Yes, it can be done", with levels 1 to 3 and a Reset button (Nov 7, 2026). The hint George Vanous gives in the Apr 26, 2025 Trivia video: "you have to think outside the box".
The Apr 1, 2025 video added three logic puzzles at once; the second asks for one short line that makes "5 + 5 + 5 = 550" true, "but not on the equal sign". h.ki/how-to-heartbeat links the logic puzzles at h.ki/fun/logic-puzzles.
Heartkeys
Heartkeys, "Beat the keys to win the race", is a typing test you can play alone or as a race with friends, up to 10 people at once; the text can scroll word by word (the default), fit the box, show a sentence or show all of it. h.ki/about calls it a "Multiplayer typing competition and typing tutor".
To race, click Race your friends, which makes a race or joins one from a link a friend sent; the text can be changed, and the race starts once everyone clicks Ready up. The May 31, 2025 video calls it "our first multiplayer game on Heartbeat".
Coin flip
h.ki/fun/coin-flip flips a coin (seen in the Fun menu, Nov 7, 2026).
Tools
On Nov 7, 2026 the Tools menu listed 19 tools, each at h.ki/tool/ plus the name shown:

| microphone | Test a microphone and record a playback |
| speakers | Play a sound left, right and both to test speakers |
| webcam | Webcam test (by its name; not shown in a video) |
| emi | Loan installment (EMI) calculator with an amortization schedule |
| stopwatch | A stopwatch (by its name) |
| countdown | A countdown timer (by its name) |
| emoji | Search emoji, keep favorites, copy one |
| compare-text | Show where two strings differ |
| convert-text | Uppercase, lowercase, sentence case, reverse case |
| compare-dates | Compare two dates (by its name) |
| country | Look up country codes, with a history |
| phone | Phone numbers (by its name) |
| accent-removal | Strip accented letters for forms that take plain ASCII |
| my-ip | Your IP address and the country it shows |
| iban | Break an IBAN into its bank and account parts |
| paper-cut | A paper-cut graphic on a light or dark background, with amplitude, noise length and cutout corner settings |
| pomodoro-timer | A Pomodoro work timer (by its name) |
| keyboard | A keyboard tool (by its name) |
"By its name" marks a tool we describe only from its menu name; the rest are shown in Freedom!'s videos at the moments below.
Emoji: search for one, click it to copy it to the clipboard and add it to your favorites, which stay when you come back; then paste it into a message.
Compare shows exactly where two strings differ, and Convert changes a string to uppercase, lowercase, sentence case or reversed case.
Country code: type a code (AQ is Antarctica) or a name (Canada is CA); the tool keeps your earlier lookups, each with a trash icon.
Accent removal cleans text for input boxes, such as some bank forms, that accept only plain letters.
My IP shows your address and its country, a quick way to see which country a VPN puts you in; IBAN breaks a bank's IBAN into its parts.
Time zone: add the cities of everyone in a meeting (Dubai, New York, London, then Vancouver) and the tool shows the hours that suit all of them; a zone you hide moves to an archive below.
EMI calculator: enter a loan, its rate and its term and it shows the monthly installment, the total interest and a year-by-year amortization schedule, updating as you type, with advance payments to see the interest they save.
Microphone: allow the browser to use the microphone, then record your voice and hear it back before a call or a video.
Speakers: plays a sound on the left, the right and both, to check a sound system before an important meeting.
Paper cut shows a paper-cut graphic on a light or dark background, and lets you change its amplitude, noise length and cutout corner.
What we think
We think the time zone planner and the EMI calculator are the two tools worth bookmarking: each answers a real question in seconds, and neither asks you to sign in. Most of the others do one small thing that a search engine also answers, and the tool names on the menu are bare words, so a visitor has to open each to learn what it does. Heartkeys stands apart as the only multiplayer game on Heartbeat we saw; a typing race needs friends at the same moment, so its value depends on whom you can invite.
